How to order
Online ordering
To order online, simply choose the quantity of the product you wish to buy and then click on the ‘ADD TO BASKET’ button to add the item(s) to your shopping basket. You can click on ‘BASKET’ at the top of the web page to view the contents of your basket at any time. This page will allow you to view and change your selections.
You can update the quantities of an item or remove it completely from your basket.
When you have finished shopping go to your basket and click on the ‘CHECKOUT’ button. You will then be asked for your contact and delivery details and be directed to a secure area to make your payment.
If you have a promotion code simply enter the code in the ‘Promotion Code’ box at checkout and click ‘Apply Promotion Code’. The discount will be automatically applied to your order. Only one discount code may be used per order.
Ordering from outside of the UK:
Customers who wish to order printed books from outside the UK should contact us at sales@illuminatepublishing.com for a quote for shipping. Our standard shipping charges are for the UK only. Digital Book Bundles carry no shipping charges.
For online products (Digital Book Bundles) a valid school/college teacher email address must be supplied, in order for us to send you your login details.

Invoicing:
If you already have an Hachette UK Distribution account you are probably already familiar with the way Hachette UK Distribution sends e-invoices; however, if you are a school, college or trade account that’s new to Hachette UK Distribution then please read the following information.
- As of 8th November 2021, we will no longer be including paper invoices in your book boxes. Instead an e-invoice will be emailed to you/your school. These invoices will come from ccontrol@hachette.co.uk address and you’ll need to make sure you add this to your contacts so that it doesn’t end up in your Junk Folder!
- You will receive boxes and e-invoices from Hachette UK Distribution.
- If you are outside the UK we will provide an export invoice attached to the carton for customs purposes.
- Our Customer Service teams remain the same, so you will be able to keep talking to the people you do now.
- Your Account number will now be a Hachette UK Distribution acct number, and you will find this on your e-invoice.
- There is a new address for the warehouse and returns; which is Hachette UK, Hely Hutchinson Centre, Milton Road, DIDCOT, OX11 7HH

Returns:
If you have any Illuminate returns please send this to the Hachette UK Distribution centre (address below) with clear information including original paperwork or order number, school contact and address, included within the box. These returns may take longer than normal to process but we will ensure we process things as quickly as possible.

How to pay
Online
Our website allows you to order in a few easy steps using the secure and respected Stripe payment service. No Stripe account is needed. Credit/debit cards are also processed securely by Stripe. You will need your credit or debit card details to hand, when you start to order. Once you have placed your order online, you will receive an email confirmation of your order and payment.
By phone
If you wish to order over the phone, please have your credit/debit card details ready. Please call us on 01235 827720.
Payment via school/college purchase order
If you wish to buy on behalf of your institution via invoice or purchase order, please email sales@illuminatepublishing.com for any special ordering instructions and delivery/payment conditions.
Delivery
UK delivery
Our charges for shipping are based on the quantity of books ordered.
For deliveries within the UK*, one book costs £3.00, two books costs £5.00, three books or more cost £7.00. Digital Book Bundles carry no shipping charges.
*Multiple books requiring a courier to dispatch to certain remote parts of the UK may require extra postage charges. We will be in contact with you if we think this is applicable to your order.
Printed products
Orders of printed products are dispatched within 2 working days of receipt of payment. We will endeavour to dispatch it as quickly as possible. If your order is placed online, you will receive an email once your order has been dispatched.
Some deliveries may require a signature on receipt. Please quote a delivery address where a signature can be given during working hours.
School/College deliveries
We will only send our books to schools and colleges if someone is there to sign for them and receive the goods. Any books that are sent out to schools/colleges will need to be signed for. Please can it be ensured that our invoices are settled within our 14 day invoice terms.
Digital Book Bundles
For Digital Book Bundle orders you will receive two emails. The first will be your order summary, the second will contain your log-in details. Your log-in details will usually be sent to you within two working days of receipt of your order.
International delivery for printed products
Please note that for those customers wishing to place an order for delivery outside the UK, please contact us at sales@illuminatepublishing.com for a quote for your entire order including the quantity required. We will base the price of postage and packaging on the weight of the order.
You will be responsible for the payment of any import duties or taxes that are payable outside of the UK. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
