How to order
To order online, simply choose the quantity of the product you wish to buy and then click on the ‘ADD TO BASKET’ button to add the item(s) to your shopping basket. You can click on ‘BASKET’ at the top of the web page to view the contents of your basket at any time. This page will allow you to view and change your selections.
You can update the quantities of an item or remove it completely from your basket.
When you have finished shopping go to your basket and click on the ‘CHECKOUT’ button. You will then be asked for your contact and delivery details and be directed to a secure area to make your payment.
If you have a promotion code simply enter the code in the ‘Promotion Code’ box at checkout and click ‘Apply Promotional Code’. The discount will be automatically applied to your order. Only one discount code may be used per order.
Ordering from outside of the UK:
Customers who wish to order printed books from outside the UK should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote for shipping. Our standard shipping charges are for the UK only. Please note that Digital Book Bundles do not have a shipping charge applied to them and so this is not applicable to overseas orders.
For online products (Digital Book Bundles) a valid school/college teacher email address must be supplied, in order for us to send you your login details.

How to pay
Our website allows you to order in a few easy steps using the secure and respected PayPal service. No PayPal account is needed. Credit/debit cards are also processed securely by PayPal. You will need your credit or debit card details to hand, when you start to order. Once you have placed your order online, you will receive an email confirmation of your order and payment.

Payment by cheque
Please note that we can accept payment by cheque but we will levy a handling fee of £1.00 per cheque. This is because we are charged a significant fee by the bank to process each cheque. Please contact us for further details.

Our charges for postage and packaging are based on the quantity of books ordered.
For deliveries within the UK*, one book costs £3.00, two books costs £5.00, three books or more cost £7.00. Digital Book Bundles carry no shipping charges.
*Multiple books requiring a courier to dispatch to certain remote parts of the UK may require extra postage charges. We will be in contact with you if we think this is applicable to your order.
Orders of printed products are dispatched within 2 working days of receipt of payment. We will endeavour to dispatch it as quickly as possible. If your order is placed online, you will receive an email once your order has been dispatched.
Some deliveries may require a signature on receipt. Please quote a delivery address where a signature can be given during working hours.
Digital Book Bundles
For Digital Book Bundle orders you will receive two emails. The first will be your order summary, the second will contain your log-in details. Your log-in details will usually be sent to you within two working days of receipt of your order.
International delivery for printed products
Please note that for those customers wishing to place an order for delivery outside the UK, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote for your entire order including the quantity required. We will base the price of shipping on the weight of the order. Digital Book Bundles carry no shipping charges.
You will be responsible for the payment of any import duties or taxes that are payable outside of the UK. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
Creating an online account
Once you have set up an account by ordering a product, your account details will be kept securely on our system if you have chosen for us to do so. All you need to do is visit the ‘Log in/Register’ menu, and then log in by entering your email address and password.
When you sign into your ‘My Account’ page, you can edit or delete saved billing and delivery addresses and you can change options and preferences.
If you have forgotten the password to your account, go to the ‘Log In/Register’ page using the link at the top of the page. Click on the ‘Lost your password?’ link. Now enter your email address and click ‘Continue’. You will be sent an email message containing your new password. Once you have logged in with the new password, you will be able to visit ‘My Account’ and set your password to something more memorable.
Please note: Customers with an account from our old website will need to register again or checkout as a guest. Please get in touch with email@example.com if you have a query regarding a previous order.
You may receive discount codes from us in our communications from time to time. You can redeem these by typing your code into the ‘Promotion Code’ box in your shopping basket when you order online during the checkout process.
Please note that only one promotion code may be used per order.

Digital (e-evaluation) copies
Many of our titles are available to teachers in schools/colleges to evaluate as digital books (viewed online) where you have access for 30 days – this is a completely free service. You can sign up for these on the relevant product page and you will be sent the login instructions by email. Please note that we require a school/college email address for this service.
Schools/colleges can evaluate a printed copy for free for 30 days before purchase. After 30 days, the evaluation copy is then available to:
- Purchase at the list price plus cost of postage (£3 for a single book); or
- Return to us (posting at your own expense) in a saleable condition to: Illuminate Publishing Ltd, c/o PDX Logistics Ltd, Units 20-22 Haddenham Business Park, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire HP17 8LJ ; or
- Keep it for FREE if you order 15 or more copies and notify us of your adoption
Please note: This evaluation copy service is only available to teachers, not to private individuals. All goods must be paid for if retained. Evaluation copy invoices must be addressed to your school/college.

Returns and refunds
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of the receipt of the goods. This cancellation must be notified to Illuminate Publishing in writing or by e-mailing email@example.com
You should then return the goods to Illuminate Publishing at your expense within 7 days of notifying us. Please include the original invoice that was issued.

We recommend that you return the goods in the original packaging or similar and should take reasonable care of the goods to ensure we receive them undamaged. A full refund (not including your return postage of the goods which must be paid by you) will be issued by Illuminate Publishing within 30 days of the goods being returned provided they are in resaleable condition. If the goods are not received in resaleable condition, Illuminate Publishing reserves its right to deduct an appropriate amount from the refund for any resulting loss in value.
If an incorrect book from the one you ordered is sent in error, or if a book is faulty please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange its return and exchange.

While we make every effort to ensure that information on our website is accurate, this cannot be guaranteed. Prices displayed on our website and product availability may change without prior notice.
We take great care to make sure that product descriptions and specifications are correct. However, we reserve the right to make any changes, technical or otherwise to product specifications at any time.

If you wish to submit a review of one of our products, you can do so by clicking on the ‘REVIEWS’ tab on the chosen product. Select ‘SUBMIT A REVIEW’ and fill in the fields displayed. Once you submit your review it will be checked by our team to ensure it is suitable to be displayed, and then it will appear on the product page.

It is likely your school or college will have a CLA Education Licence. This licence provides annual blanket permissions to copy and reuse content from our print publications. All state-funded schools and most independents are covered by the CLA Licence.
