The brand has changed over time, but is known for its use of exotic locations, exciting action sequences and character types such as the ‘Bond Villain’ and ‘Bond Girl’. People and organisations involved in Spectre Daniel Craig has played James Bond since 2006, when he starred in Casino Royale. The director, Sam Mendes, also directed Skyfall , which was extremely successful. Many of the production team from Skyfall also worked on Spectre, for example the production designer, composer and screenwriters. Spectre was produced by Columbia Pictures (an American film company that is part of Sony Pictures), MGM and EON (a British company). Sony Pictures distributed the film. Sony Pictures is owned by the Sony Corporation, a very large global conglomerate that produces media content including films and music, as well as electronic goods such as the PlayStation games console.
