“I know many teachers are fans of the ‘Green Haired Girl’ and its accompanying digital bundle, so the publication of the ‘Pink Haired Girl’ digital bundle has been eagerly anticipated.

The Year 2 digital bundle follows the same successful format as the Year 1 bundle.  Students can access the text book online and there are numerous useful interactive features such as the ability to highlight and annotate, online quizzes, practice questions, extension activities etc.  We intend to use the digital bundle to support flipped learning as we did with the Year 1 bundle. Students can’t use the excuse ‘I left my textbook at school, Miss’, if they can get online they can access the material. Next year we intend to set even more activities to complete outside of lessons in order to refresh the Year 1 content for students to prepare for their A level examinations in all three components.

Probably, the most useful feature for teachers are the resources. These are great for those lessons where you lack inspiration, ideas or just energy. The accompanying notes with these resources are a Godsend; you don’t even need to think of the answers! All the resources are PDF files ready to simply print off and use. The resources have all been written by experienced teachers and are tried and tested.

I thoroughly recommend this package; it will save lots of time and energy in planning activities and writing resources. Also, I think students are far more used to and comfortable with digital resources than most teachers, their feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.”
