Privacy and GDPR Compliance

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We do not make our mailing list available to any other company. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the new GDPR coming into effect from May 2018. We are currently reviewing our Privacy and Data policy in line with GDPR. New notices will be published here shortly.

We collect information about you for three reasons: firstly, to process your order, secondly to allow us from time to time to provide you with information offers and promotions regarding forthcoming publications and thirdly, to provide you with the best possible service.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We do not hold credit/debit card details, except for our payment service provider PayPal® who keep records on a secure basis.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

Access to your information

We do our best to ensure that the information we hold will be accurate and up-to-date. You can request to see what information we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and in line with the GDPR.


The Illuminate Publishing shop relies on a technology called cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your web browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any secure information such as passwords or credit card details. They allow us to store items in your shopping basket as you browse our online shop. Visitors to our website

When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Digital Service Providers

Over the last few years, Haremi has managed the editorial production of a number of key A Level Psychology textbooks, providing project management, editorial and typesetting services. They also help us produce various digital resources.
